Principles and Methods of Teaching

This course focuses on teaching and learning. It will focus on education for junior nurses or nursing students. Students will be introduced to philosophies and theories that underlie education, methods of teaching, and assessment with an emphasis on active learning and adult learning principles. Students will have a classroom, skills lab, and clinical teaching experience with junior nursing students.
