Welcome to NSM3214: Pediatric and Child Health Nursing II. This course builds on Pediatric and Child Health Nursing I which was covered in semester I. This course will equip you with the knowledge, attitude and skills required to care effectively for infants and children with disorders affecting GIT, endocrine and renal systems. The course also addresses key aspects of nursing care of a sick child using the IMCI guidelines. In addition, this course, will orient you on pediatric HIV/AIDS care.
