Paediatrics I (Child Health Nursing I) is a course unit that addresses key aspects of child growth and development; growth monitoring
and evaluation; newborn care and management, as well as the causes, signs and
symptoms, investigations and management of common disorders affecting newborns and
children. It equips students with knowledge, attitude and skills to effectively assess, diagnose and manage responses of newborns, infants and children to illness/disease and health.
