This course equips learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to provide nursing care in the community. It focuses on the clients in their homes, schools, and/or health centers. Legal and theoretical frameworks guiding community health nursing practice will be explored. Emphasis is placed on primary health care (PHC), family-centered care, environmental health, health maintenance, promotion, and disease prevention. Community visits to families, water treatment plants, and waste management sites will be conducted
