The course reflects on to the nursing models, builds on Clinical Nursing Skills and prepares students with advanced nursing skills. It focuses on meeting patients need for respirations, exercises, rest and sleep; importance and methods of record keeping; nursing care required during medication administration, infection prevention and control; pain management. Furthermore, it addresses the kind of nursing care and attitude required when taking care of patients as well as caring for the terminally ill, unconscious, grieving, dying, and care for the dead or last offices.
