Course Description
This course covers insect and nematodes pests of major agricultural crops and the methods used to manage them, including strategies and tactics of pest management, biological, chemical, behavioral, cultural, mechanical, and physical controls. In addition, the course will include the concept of plant host resistance.
This is a three (3) credit unit course with forty-five (45) contact hours.
