Differential Equations I introduces the student to various methods for
solving first order and second order differential equations and difference
equations. The course also covers methods used in power series solutions for
the first and second order differential equations and linear equations of nth
order. Systems of differential equations are also covered. Applications in Physics,
Ecology, Environment and Biology are given.
