This is an introductory course giving an overview of Human Resources Management geared towards making students comprehend the various functions of human resources management and responsibilities of both managers and employees. Topics covered include: An overview of HRM, Human Resource Planning, Job Analysis, Recruitment, Selection, placement and induction/orientation, Performance Appraisal System, Job Evaluation, Employee Training and Development, Motivation, employee welfare, Reward Management, Industrial Relations, Collective Bargaining, Discipline and Grievance Handling, and Employee Exit.
