Course Description:
This course is designed to prepare students in understanding administration from the basics, theories, approaches, leadership, and general management of educational systems.
Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, the learner should be able to:
(i) describe the basic theories and concepts of Education in the context and framework of Uganda’s educational system.
(ii) develop the administrative insight thereby improving their administrative potential.
(iii) handle administrative tasks at any level of management, especially in Uganda’s educational system.
Learning outcomes:
At the end of the course, the graduate can:
(i) explain the theories and concepts of education in the context and framework of Uganda’s education system
(ii) develop administrative insights for handling administrative challenges
(iii) perform administrative tasks in any level of the Uganda’s education system
