Course Description:
This course offers an introductory Psychology in the context of educational environment and
provides some detail on human behavior's and creativity.
Course Objectives:
At the end of this course, the learner should be able to
i) State the meaning of Psychology and goals of studying Psychology
ii) Examine the concept of Abnormal psychology, categories, causes, symptoms and possible
remedies, mental disorders and what should be done about them. Treatment of abnormal
behavior
iii) apply scientific methods to problems of behavior and experience.
iv) Examine Health, stress and stress response, personality types and stress, coping and coping
mechanisms
Learning outcomes:
